UNDERGRADUATE COURSES

  • ENES 210, Entrepreneurial Opportunity Analysis and Decision-Making in 21st Century Technology Ventures: Undergraduate course helps students learn the principles of entrepreneurial opportunity analysis and decision-making in an increasingly technically-inclined society.

  • ENES 460, Fundamentals of Technology Start-Up Ventures: Undergraduate course offered online and on-campus helps students learn the processes and skills needed to launch and manage new technology ventures, with a focus on business plan development.

  • ENES 498, Special Topics in Entrepreneurship: Undergraduate course is a seminar and case study-based course that explores technology entrepreneurship with a focus on leadership and strategies to launch and manage technology ventures.

  • ENES 498A, Special Topics in Entrepreneurship / Introduction to Innovative Thinking: Undergraduate course helps students learn methods for improving the flexibility and originality of their thinking and explore multiple approaches to create and sustain high levels of innovation. Topics include personal thinking preferences, everyday creativity and eliminating mental blocks, creative thinking techniques, idea selection approaches, teaming techniques for creativity, design for interaction, and intellectual property.

  • ENES 498E, Special Topics in Entrepreneurship / Entrepreneurship in Chemical and Life Sciences: Undergraduate course is a seminar and case study-based course that explores technology entrepreneurship with a focus on leadership and strategies to launch and manage technology venture, with special attention to chemical and life sciences ventures.

GRADUATE COURSES

  • BIOE 645, Advanced Engineering Startup Ventures: Graduate course covers principles and practices important to engineering startup ventures, especially those involving bioengineering and medical device enterprises, and includes the preparation of business plans and tools used to obtain funding.

  • Graduate Certificate in Engineering - Technology Ventures and Innovation: 12-credit graduate certificate program in entrepreneurial practices for technology ventures.

    • ENPM 690: Fundamentals of Technology Startup Ventures

    • ENPM 691: Strategies for Managing Innovation
