Ergonomics
UMMAP has a variety of ergonomic assistance programs designed to provide cost effective benefits for your company. Studies have shown that companies who do not implement ergonomic programs in the workplace experience higher costs associated with reduced productivity due to improper postures, work related injuries and lost time from work. Companies will also face high costs for workers compensation and health insurance. The benefits of starting an ergonomic program have shown that it creates a better workplace environment that helps employees to become more productive. A partial listing of assistance areas is given below.
Ergonomic Assessments
UMMAP offers on-site ergonomic assessments for both office and factory environments. These assessments focus on identifying ergonomic deficiencies in the workplace and developing recommendations to improve these deficiencies.
Ergonomic Program Development
